hranostaj This double EP keeps very coherent mood inside and out despite the fact that it is a compilation from various artists. It is being true to the sound of this label with its deep techno touches and hypnotic moods. While it works as a whole, I was particularly delighted to hear Raleigh´s first release Return from Hora, which certainly put the H back in Hora. It has nicely crafted stereo effects and delays and obvious narrative qualities as the track progresses. Favorite track: Return From Hora.

Harmony Rec. is celebrating its eighth birthday with a double EP compilation involving all the artists of the label.

HARMONY010.1 is introduced by a playful experimental composition of Polygonia that shares the side with a gloomy electro drive by Forest On Stasys. Groovy dancefloor-aimed loops that are exhaling their freshness via the B-side, were crafted by the label veterans Jamida and Shoal.

HARMONY010.2 is the deeper & darker sibling of the first half of the release. The tracks from Alfred and Biri are not missing any cadence, as the compilation progresses towards the end. Alan Backdrop is adding some extra progressiveness on the B1 before the finale. The whole thing is wrapped up by Raleigh’s immersive, nebulous journey.
